Drone Operations

All flights are subject to weather, visibility, airspace, property access, equipment condition, FAA rules, safety conditions, and pilot judgment at the time of the job. Pikeville Drone Services may delay, modify, decline, or cancel a flight when conditions are unsafe, restricted, impractical, or not legally permitted.

Property Lines and Boundaries

Pikeville Drone Services and any editors, contractors, or assistants working with Pikeville Drone Services do not edit photos or videos for the purpose of marking, drawing, shading, identifying, confirming, or representing property lines or legal boundaries.

The free property photo tool on this website is provided strictly for client use only. Any property lines, boundary overlays, shaded areas, outlines, labels, or map-style markings created with that tool are created by the person using the tool, not by Pikeville Drone Services.

Any liability, responsibility, claim, mistake, misunderstanding, or dispute related to property-line markings, boundary placement, acreage, access, ownership, easements, or legal descriptions belongs to the person or party who creates, uses, shares, uploads, publishes, or relies on those markings. Such markings are approximate visual aids only and are not an official survey, legal boundary determination, title opinion, engineering document, or substitute for a licensed surveyor.

This applies in any jurisdiction where Pikeville Drone Services may work, including Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and any other state, county, city, municipality, or local jurisdiction. Some state and local regulations may prohibit anyone other than a properly licensed surveyor or other authorized professional from determining, marking, representing, or certifying property lines, boundaries, corners, acreage, easements, or related land measurements. Users are responsible for knowing and following the laws and professional licensing requirements that apply to their property, listing, project, and location.

Free Property Photo Tool

The free property photo tool is provided for convenience to help create simple visual explanations for listings, planning conversations, and client communication. Markups created with the tool are user-generated and should be reviewed for accuracy before being shared, posted, printed, or uploaded to any listing platform.

Media Accuracy and Use

Aerial photos and videos can help show land, structures, access, surroundings, progress, and events, but they may not show every condition on or near a property. Images may be affected by altitude, lens perspective, lighting, shadows, season, vegetation, weather, editing, compression, or platform display settings.

Clients are responsible for the final use of delivered media, including MLS uploads, advertising, social media posts, printed materials, public claims, captions, descriptions, and compliance with applicable real estate, advertising, privacy, and platform rules.

People, Vehicles, Events, and Private Property

Drone work around people, vehicles, events, homes, businesses, animals, roads, and neighboring properties requires care and may be limited by safety rules, privacy concerns, property access, local conditions, or FAA requirements. A requested shot is not guaranteed unless it can be captured safely, legally, and responsibly.

Delivery, Platforms, and File Formats

Pikeville Drone Services may prepare photos or videos for common uses such as websites, MLS listings, social media, archives, or client downloads. Third-party sites and services may crop, compress, resize, reject, alter, or display media differently. Pikeville Drone Services is not responsible for changes made by MLS systems, social platforms, web hosts, email providers, or other third-party tools.
